Frequently asked questions
Find clear answers to common questions about how Serenity Helper works, how your messages are personalised, and what to expect along the way.
Once you complete onboarding, Serenity Helper generates a week of personalised support messages based on everything you shared — your feelings, your support style, your preferred tone, and the time that works best for you. Each message arrives in your inbox quietly and without pressure, ready whenever you are.
How messages are generated
At the start of each week, Serenity Helper uses the preferences and context from your onboarding profile to generate a full set of support messages through AI. These are not generic templates — they are shaped by your specific situation, tone preferences, and what you told us you need most right now. If you selected faith-based encouragement, scripture or prayer language may be woven in where it fits naturally. If you opted into horoscope-informed support, that perspective shapes the framing too.
When and how they arrive
Messages are delivered to your email inbox at the time you selected during onboarding. You chose that time for a reason — we honour it. Each message is written to feel calm and human, not automated or clinical. You do not need to log in to receive them. They come to you. If you ever want to revisit past messages or check what is coming, your dashboard holds everything in one place.
Your messages are not one-size-fits-all. Every response you gave during onboarding — how you are feeling, what is weighing on you, the support style you prefer, whether faith matters to you — all of it feeds directly into what gets written for you. The result is support that feels like it was written with you specifically in mind.
What shapes your messages
During onboarding, you shared a lot — your current feelings, what is adding pressure to your life, whether you prefer gentle encouragement or something more direct, whether faith or spirituality matters to you, and more. All of that is used when your weekly messages are generated. Your preferred name appears naturally throughout. If you noted specific triggers or stressors, the tone of your messages reflects that awareness without dwelling on the difficult parts. The goal is support that meets you where you actually are.
What we keep respectful
Personalisation here is about resonance, not surveillance. We do not track what you open or click to feed some algorithm. Your messages are shaped by what you intentionally told us during onboarding — nothing more. Optional fields like faith tradition, horoscope preference, and free-text context are entirely your choice to fill. If you left something blank, we leave that dimension out of your messages entirely. You are always in control of how much you share.
Life changes, and your support should be able to change with it. If your situation has shifted, your preferred delivery time has moved, or you simply want to try a different tone, you can update your preferences from your dashboard and your next batch of messages will reflect those changes.
What you can change
Almost everything from your original onboarding can be updated — your current feelings, your support style, your delivery time, your timezone, and optional preferences like faith-based language or horoscope-informed framing. You can also update your preferred name if it has changed. Changes take effect when your next weekly message batch is generated, so your current week may continue as originally planned while your updated preferences shape everything that follows.
How updates take effect
When you save updated preferences, Serenity Helper uses your new inputs the next time your weekly messages are generated. If your current week's messages have already been created, those will deliver as normal. The week after your update is where you will notice the shift in tone, theme, or timing. There is no waiting period beyond that — the change is immediate for the next generation cycle.
Completing onboarding is the moment things begin. Your first week of support messages is generated shortly after, your dashboard becomes your home base, and — if you chose a paid plan — your subscription is confirmed and ready. Here is what the first few days look like.
Right after you finish
As soon as your onboarding is complete, Serenity Helper begins generating your first batch of support messages in the background. This usually takes just a moment. You will land on your dashboard, where you can see your messages, review your preferences, and get a feel for what is waiting for you. If you signed up for a paid plan, your subscription is confirmed at this point and you will receive a payment confirmation by email. Your free trial, if applicable, begins immediately.
What the first days feel like
Your first message will arrive in your inbox at the delivery time you chose during onboarding. It is written to ease you in gently — there is no pressure, no homework, and no follow-up required. Simply receive it. Over the coming days, messages continue to arrive on their quiet, consistent schedule. If anything feels off — the tone, the timing, the content — you can update your preferences at any time and the next week will adjust accordingly.
When you complete onboarding, Serenity Helper gives you a full week of personalised support messages at no cost. You experience the real product — your actual messages, your actual delivery time — before you are ever asked to pay anything.
What is included in the trial
Your trial is not a limited or watered-down version. You receive a full week of AI-generated support messages personalised to your onboarding profile, delivered to your inbox at the time you chose. There are no restrictions on content, no watermarks, and no prompts to upgrade mid-message. It is the complete Serenity Helper experience from day one.
What happens when the trial ends
At the end of your trial week, delivery pauses until you choose a plan. You will not be charged automatically and nothing is billed without your action. If you decide Serenity Helper is right for you, selecting a plan from your dashboard resumes your support and the next week of messages is generated straight away. If you decide not to continue, your account stays open and your preferences are saved in case you ever want to return.
Serenity Helper is designed for the everyday weight many people carry — stress, low energy, difficult seasons, the need for a little steadiness. It is not a replacement for therapy, professional mental health support, or emergency care. Knowing the difference matters, and we want to be honest about it.
What Serenity Helper is for
Serenity Helper is a gentle daily companion for people who want consistent, low-pressure emotional support woven into their routine. It is most useful for managing everyday emotional weight — the kind that does not require clinical intervention but does benefit from regular, thoughtful encouragement. If you are going through a hard season and want something quiet and steady in your corner, this is what it is built for.
When to seek professional support instead
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or anything that feels urgent or dangerous, please reach out to a qualified professional or your local emergency services immediately. Serenity Helper is not equipped to handle crisis situations and should never be used as a substitute for clinical care. Your safety matters far more than any app.
Serenity Helper respects that for many people, faith and spirituality are not separate from wellbeing — they are central to it. During onboarding, you can choose whether you would like your support messages to include faith-based encouragement, scripture or prayer language, or horoscope-informed framing. All of it is optional and entirely on your terms.
Faith-based encouragement
If you select faith-based encouragement as a support style, you will be asked to share your faith tradition — for example, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, or any other tradition that is meaningful to you. You can also indicate whether scripture references or prayer-style language feel welcome. Serenity Helper uses that context to shape messages that feel aligned with your beliefs rather than generic. If you prefer support that does not reference faith at all, simply leave those options unselected.
Horoscope-informed support
If astrology resonates with you, you can opt into horoscope-informed framing during onboarding by sharing your zodiac sign. This does not mean your messages become daily horoscopes — it means the tone and perspective may draw on astrological language as one lens for encouragement and reflection. Like everything else in Serenity Helper, this is entirely optional. You can turn it on or off at any time from your dashboard.
Privacy is not an afterthought at Serenity Helper. The personal and emotional context you share during onboarding is treated with real care. It is used solely to generate your support messages — nothing else. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to build profiles outside the platform.
How your data is used
The preferences, feelings, and context you share during onboarding are used for one purpose: generating personalised support messages for you. Your email address is used to deliver those messages and manage your account. That is the full scope of how your information is used. We do not run analytics on your emotional responses, we do not share your data with third-party marketers, and we do not build behavioural profiles from your usage.
Your rights and controls
You can update or delete your personal information at any time from your account settings. If you want a copy of the data we hold about you, or you want your account fully deleted, you can request that directly. Our Privacy Policy has the full details, but the short version is: your information belongs to you and you are always in control of it.
Cancelling Serenity Helper is straightforward. You can do it yourself from the billing section of your dashboard at any time. There are no cancellation fees, no retention flows designed to wear you down, and no need to contact support to stop your subscription.
How to cancel
Log into your account and head to the billing section of your dashboard. From there you can manage or cancel your subscription directly. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for — cancelling does not cut things off immediately. Once the period ends, message delivery pauses and you will not be charged again unless you choose to reactivate.
What happens to your data after cancelling
Your account and preferences remain saved after cancellation. If you ever want to return, you can reactivate your subscription and pick up where you left off — your onboarding profile and message history will still be there. If you would prefer your data to be deleted entirely, you can request that from your account settings or by contacting us directly.
